Meet the chef: Andrew Gorski
A Clevelander since first grade, Andrew Gorski has roots in the city that run as deep as his love for cooking, something he knew he wanted to pursue as a career before he even graduated from high school. In addition to a hometown perspective, Chef Gorski brings diverse experience to Parker’s Downtown — he was trained at the Culinary Institute of America in New York; served as a cook for the U.S. Navy; and worked in the kitchens of Las Vegas restaurants from big names like Thomas Keller, David Burke, and Alain Ducasse. With a strong focus on technique and execution, Chef Gorski concocts super-creative “familiar but progressive” selections for the menu, all made to follow his food philosophy of fresh, ethically sourced, and seasonal.
