Wedding Weekend Events in Cleveland
It’s easy to commit to a wedding venue when it can also host all your other nuptial-related events, from a welcome cocktail hour to a farewell brunch. At the Kimpton Schofield Hotel, the merriment lasts the entire weekend, as we have the venues to help you celebrate each moment of this milestone occasion. Amid the celebrations of your love, your guests will never want for things to do. Given our convenient location right in downtown Cleveland, those from both near and far can enjoy the city’s best theaters, museums, shopping, sports, and more, right outside our front door.
Rehearsal Dinner
Before the big day, practice makes perfect — and it doesn’t hurt to throw in a perfect meal to round out the experience. Host your rehearsal dinner in the Levi Ballroom, or for smaller parties of up to 16 guests, gather in the private dining room of Betts, our on-site restaurant. Either way, we’ll help you craft a menu you’ll love. Options include everything from chorizo pigs in a blanket to cauliflower steak to lemon tartlets.
Ceremony
For the main event, exchange your vows in our elegant Levi Ballroom. Our on-site experience specialist will take care of all the little details so that you can focus on what’s really important: your love for each other. Before it begins, host a pre-ceremony cocktail hour for guests to mix and mingle leading up to the I do’s.
Wedding Reception
Your debut as newlyweds deserves to be everything you’ve dreamed of. Catering is provided by Betts, with a menu centered around classic American dishes with an emphasis on fresh whole foods. Whatever your tastes our team will create a menu you will remember. Want more….add a little whimsy to the reception with a taco bar, a donut wall, an ice cream sandwich spread, or a s’mores setup. And if you still want to keep the party going after the reception winds down, reserve Betts for an after-hours soiree, complete with a tasty nightcap for all.
Farewell Brunch
Parting is such sweet sorrow — put the emphasis on the sweet part with a post-wedding brunch for everyone to gather one last time. Our delicious dishes include carrot cake oatmeal, fluffy scrambled eggs, Greek yogurt parfaits, overnight French toast casserole, and breakfast burritos, among other options. It’s just the meal to send everyone off with full hearts — and full bellies.
Engagement Parties
After the question is popped, the “yes” is exclaimed, and you’re officially affianced, an engagement party can be a fun way to celebrate with loved ones and kick off your wedding season. At the Kimpton Schofield Hotel, we can host up to 120 people for this special event. While you prep your proposal story (you’ll be telling it a lot!), we’ll work on handling the rest.
